The Board met in the new Powerhouse Campus which has a designated meeting room.  This space will be utilized not only by the Board, but also for professional development, school council meetings and other school division business.

Student Transportation

The Board of Trustees approved a five year contract beginning in 2024-25 for student transportation in the south with two contractors: Prairie Bus Lines Ltd and First Student. However, since then it has been determined that the request for proposal will need to be reissued.  The Board will hold a special meeting on May 1, 2024 to approve a new recommendation for transportation in the south part of the division.

Trustee Reports

Trustees reported on the events that they have attended over the last month including, ICE Presentation, Grade 9 Conference, Inclusion Alberta, Indigenous Education Committee meeting, ASBA, PSBAA Council and many school council meetings, including the umbrella school council meetings.
