Student Health Services




Wild Rose School Division supports local area health units and other external agencies in meeting the health and therapeutic needs of the students it serves. The costs associated with health and therapeutic interventions are beyond the mandate of the School Division.


The following procedures shall be followed in relation to the provision of health and therapeutic interventions:




1.      Schools are encouraged to co-operate fully with external agencies in the provision of health and therapeutic services to students and staff.


2.      Schools are required to follow directives and regulations lawfully issued by such agencies with respect to student health and therapy.


3.      Schools must identify a key contact for local area Health Units and other external agencies.
