For Visions West Outreach School, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta

Applications are invited for a Probationary Part Time Grade 10-12 Science Teacher for Visions West Outreach School.  This is a 0.8 FTE teaching position.

Preferred candidates will have training and / or experience in the above noted

subjects and grade levels.  Candidates with a background in trauma informed practice are preferred. Experience teaching in an outreach setting would be an asset.  We are a highly collaborative team who work together to provide a broad range of core, CTS and fine arts courses. The ability to instruct non-core subjects would be a considerable asset.

Start date will be August 26, 2021.

Visions West Outreach School offers flexible programming to students in grades 10-12.  Our flexibility allows students to work at their own pace while capitalizing on their unique learned styles.  We are located in Rocky Mountain House and have five teachers on staff and approximately 100 part time students.

A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single google or pdf document.

The successful applicant will be required to provide original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record and Intervention Record checks as a condition of employment.
