Student Support Services Department

The Student Support Services Department exists to help our students learn and be successful. They ensure all the partners involved in the planning and delivery of a student’s educational program work together.

Collaborative problem solving creates a relevant and effective teaching and intervention plan for students. This enables a student to learn and be successful by working with their learning strengths and needs.

The Collaborative Decision Making process includes:

  • Assessment of the student’s strength as a learner
  • Assessment of the learning environment including an analysis of the instructional content and techniques
  • Selection of content and techniques that provide opportunities for success
