Wild Rose School Division invites applications from Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to fill one position commencing August 30, 2022. The term of employment is August 30 to June 30 of each school year, with a great need for flexibility in the hours worked. Position will be 6 hours/day Monday to Friday, with schedule to be finalized upon hire.
This CAAMSE position would be appealing to an individual that enjoys working in an innovative and collaborative school setting supporting Rocky Mountain House and area. The SLPA will provide individualized and small group speech and language therapy support under the supervision of a Registered Speech Language Pathologist. Duties will include organizing therapy sessions, preparing activities, creating program materials, arranging appointments with families and assisting with treatment care planning in collaboration with school learning teams.
Only those applicants that have a Diploma in Speech Language Pathologist Assistant from an approved post secondary institution will be considered. Applicants must hold a membership in the Therapy Assistant Association of Alberta, and proof of both must be forwarded with the application. For more information, click here.
