Applications are invited for a Probationary Full Time 

Grade 9-12 Humanities Teacher. 


We are seeking a teacher who is collaborative; emphasizes wellness, connections, and a flourishing school culture; and ensures personalized learning opportunities for all of our students in classrooms that embody Powerful Learning Environments. We are searching for "A Warrior" who "Rises Above All Others." This position will include various English and Social Studies courses in grades 9-12. The position may also include options, such as Drama or Physical Education dependent upon the diversity of the applicant.


Start date will be August 29, 2023.


Frank Maddock High School is a grade 9-12 school of approximately 500 students located in

Drayton Valley, Alberta, 120 km, southwest of Edmonton. Our school's mission is to support

every student on their personal path of self-discovery in preparation for their successful future

beyond high school. Our values of Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Strength and Excellence

guide everything that we do within our school's growth mind-set; achieved through personal

professional growth, professional learning conversations, PLCs and Response to Intervention.

The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
