A PROBATIONARY FULL TIME TEACHER

For West Central High School in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta

 
Applications are invited for a Probationary Full Time Grade 9-12 Student Support Facilitator. 

 

Student Support Facilitators are teachers who are knowledgeable about inclusive education and are

skilled at facilitating collaboration and sharing best practices. The Student Support Facilitator

supports the equity of access to quality programming and resources for all students. The Student

Support Facilitator works with learning teams to provide students with the opportunity to access

learning environments that are the least restrictive and most responsive. The Student Support

Facilitator must excel at developing and building relationships with staff, students and their families.

Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience. Training and

or experience programming for students with special needs is an asset

 

Start date will be August 29, 2023.

 

West Central High School is the only public high school in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and

shares its campus with St. Dominic’s Catholic High School and with Red Deer

Polytechnic. West Central High School offers a full complement of academic, fine arts, career and

trades, and extra-curricular opportunities for its approximately 480 students in grades 9-12.

 

A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three

references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document

is required.

 

The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six

months) Criminal Record with vulnerable sector check as a condition of employment.
