For Frank Maddock High School in Drayton Valley, Alberta

 
Applications are invited for a Temporary Full Time 

High School English Teacher. 

 

We are seeking a teacher who is collaborative; emphasizes wellness, connections, and a flourishing school culture; and ensures personalized learning opportunities for all of our students in classrooms that embody Powerful Learning Environments. We are searching for "A Warrior" who "Rises Above All Others." This position will include English 9 and English 10.

 

Start date will be as soon as the successful candidate is able to and expected to last until December.

 

Frank Maddock High School is a grade 9-12 school of approximately 500 students located in

Drayton Valley, Alberta, 120 km, southwest of Edmonton. Our school's mission is to support

every student on their personal path of self-discovery in preparation for their successful future

beyond high school. Our values of Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Strength and Excellence

guide everything that we do within our school's growth mind-set; achieved through personal

professional growth, professional learning conversations, PLCs and Response to Intervention.

 

 

A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document.

The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
