A FULL TIME KINDERGARTEN TEACHER

For Aurora Elementary School in Drayton Valley, Alberta

 
Applications are invited for a Temporary Full Time Teacher. 

Aurora Elementary is seeking a full time kindergarten teacher, teaching classes M/W and alternate Fridays and T/Th and alternate Fridays.  Training and experience in Elementary would be an asset

 

Start date will be August 27, 2024 and is expected to continue until June 30, 2025.

 

Aurora is a K-4 school of approximately 370 students. It was built in 1992. We are located in

Drayton Valley, Alberta, 100 km. southwest of Edmonton. Our special programs include: Aurora

Watch, hot lunch program, annual concerts, monthly assemblies, choirs, drum club, cultural

performances, daily P.E., enrichment, running/walking club, Archery, and Safe & Caring Schools.

 

A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document.

The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
