for Pioneer Middle School in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta

This position is covered by the Central Alberta Association of Municipal Employees Collective Agreement. Please note, current CAAMSE applicants may be considered over non-CAAMSE applicants.

Applications are invited for a part-time (Monday - Friday 9:00-3:30) Learning Commons Facilitator at Pioneer Middle School in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.  Are you passionate about fostering a love of learning and discovery? We're looking for a dynamic and collaborative individual to join our team.  The successful candidate will work collaboratively with school staff and fellow Learning Commons Facilitators; manage & maintain physical and online learning resources using our library cataloging software and Google Sheets spreadsheets; support student learning, exploration, & creativity in an inclusive maker-space environment; and work independently & collaboratively with students individually & in groups.  

The ideal candidate will have experience in a library or learning commons environment and be comfortable with technology, including Google Workspace and various online resources.

This position will be 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
