Fall Update to the Spring Budget Approved
The board approved the changes to the budget, one of the most significant changes being the 200% increase in our insurance premiums. Wild Rose School Division is projecting a deficit budget for the 2019-2020 school year.
Closure of Eldorado School
A decision was made by the Board of Trustees to close Eldorado Elementary School effective the opening of the new Evergreen School. Click here for the full story.
Naming the New Replacement School
The Naming Committee shortlisted 10 possible names, and the Board chose Evergreen Elementary School for the name of the new replacement school in Drayton Valley. For more details, click here.
