For Aurora Elementary School in Drayton Valley, Alberta

This position is covered by the Central Alberta Association of Municipal Employees Collective Agreement.  Please note, current CAAMSE applicants may be considered over non-CAAMSE applicants.  

Applications are invited for a Regular Part Time Educational Assistant with Aurora Elementary School in Drayton Valley, Alberta. T​he successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers and other school professionals to: support students in developing self-regulation skills, social-emotional learning, and positive coping strategies in a PreKindergarten classroom; provide individualized support (toileting support, feeding assistance) and proactively identify and de-escalate challenging behaviours, maintaining a calm and supportive presence. Current first aid is also an asset.

Position is 6 hours/day Mondays, Wednesdays and alternating Fridays.
