Applications are invited for a Probationary Full Time Grade 4 Teacher.
Aurora Elementary is seeking a full time grade four teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lessons, managing a positive classroom environment, and working closely with colleagues to support student success. Knowledge/Experience with cross-curricular learning, trauma-informed practices, and social emotional learning would be assets.
Start date is August 25, 2025.
Aurora Elementary is a PreK-4 school situated in Drayton Valley, approximately 100 km southwest of Edmonton. Our school serves a community of around 370 students. We are equipped with a sensory room designed for student wellness, as well as flexible learning spaces. Our educational approach emphasizes positive behaviors through the Aurora Way. We offer a variety of special programs, including annual concerts, choirs, a drum club, a recorder club, cultural performances, daily physical education, intramurals, and targeted instructional groups. Additionally, students benefit from access to free healthy lunches and snacks, with an option for a paid hot lunch program.
