For West Central High School in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta
Applications are invited for a Full Time Grade 9-12 Core Subjects Teacher.
This position will serve students within our school community that need more personalized support, and a more flexible learning environment. This position will focus on Indigenous ways of knowing and being. Students will be working independently based on individual plans; the teacher will work closely with student supports and administration. Teacher must feel comfortable with multiple subjects at the -2/-3 level. They must be able to build strong relationships with students. The successful candidate needs to be trauma informed.
Start date is as soon as possible.
West Central High School is the only public high school in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and
shares its campus with St. Dominic Catholic High School and with Red Deer
Polytechnic. West Central High School offers a full complement of academic, fine arts, career
and trades, and extra-curricular opportunities for students in grades 9-12.
