REGULAR PART TIME TIME EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT

For RISE Program in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta

This position is covered by the Central Alberta Association of Municipal Employees Collective Agreement.  Please note, current CAAMSE applicants may be considered over non-CAAMSE applicants.  

We are seeking a compassionate, flexible, and highly motivated Educational Assistant to support students in a behavioural classroom setting for students in grades 5–9. The preferred candidate will be skilled in de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques, have experience working with children and youth, preferably in an educational or behavioural setting, and experience using trauma-informed practices to manage and respond to student behaviours. The successful candidate, possessing strong communication skills, will play a key role in supporting students with emotional regulation, social skills and conflict resolution.

The position is 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday. 

The preferred start date is September 25, 2025.
