For Visions West Outreach School in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta
Applications are invited for a Part Time Grade 10-12 Science, Biology, Math and Work Experience Teacher.
We are seeking a high school science, biology, math and work experience teacher who is passionate, resilient and has proven experience working with highly traumatized, at-risk youth. The ideal candidate will bring a trauma-informed approach, demonstrate mastery in de-escalation strategies, and possess a deep desire to connect academic content to student interests.
Ideal start date will be October 1, 2025.
Visions West Outreach School offers flexible programming to students in grades 10-12. Our flexibility allows students to work at their own pace while capitalizing on their unique learning style.
We are located in Rocky Mountain House and have five teachers on staff and approximately 100
part time students.
A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document.
The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
