2021-2022 Annual Education Results Report
The Board of Trustees reviewed and approved the Annual Education Results Report, which highlights the successes as well as the areas for improvement.
2021-2022 Audited Financial Statements
The Audited Financial Statements were presented by BDO Canada LLP and approved by the Board. One area the board will be paying close attention to is the division’s reserves, to ensure we are under the mandated cap set out by Alberta Education.
Accountability Reports
The Board heard the highlights from the 2021 -2022 Learning Services Accountability Report, which included a focus on the new curriculum, and the impacts from Covid.
Child Intervention Concerns
WRSD Director of Wellness presented a draft letter to the Minister of Children Services, expressing concerns regarding the services provided from Child and Family Services, and how this is leaving our children neglected and vulnerable.
