Wild Rose School Division’s Superintendent of Schools has just completed her PhD in Educational Policy & Leadership from the University of Alberta.  Now known as Dr. Mattia, her dissertation was on School Leaders Conceptualization of Their Wellbeing. Her research focused on rural principals and vice principals. This is the third degree for Dr. Mattia, following her Masters in Education with a focus on educational psychology, and her Bachelors of Education, all obtained from the University of Alberta.

Dr. Mattia will convocate in March 2026.
